  One of the effective measures to protect the linear vibrating screen is the wear-resistant coating.

  The functions and methods of using wear-resistant coatings generally include the following two aspects:

  1、 Linear vibrating screens are generally easy to operate, require a large amount of work, and have high efficiency. The materials screened are usually large or hard, and long-term use may inevitably cause wear on the coating.

  If the degree of wear is high, the function of the coating will also fail, so wear failure is one of the main forms of failure for these wear-resistant coatings on vibrating screens.

  The wear failure mechanism varies for different types of coatings. But in terms of the main aspect, it is deformation and wear caused by insufficient coating strength.

  In response to this issue, the linear vibrating screen industry has come up with a solution. When using coatings, we can introduce benzene rings or other rigid segments into the coating to increase the degree of polymer cross-linking and polar group content, and fully utilize hydrogen bonds to enhance intermolecular forces; It is also possible to increase rigidity by adding some corundum, quartz, or metal powder.

  Both methods have their own advantages, and we can make a choice based on actual needs. The latter may have some adverse effects to varying degrees.

  2、 The adhesion failure of the coating on the linear vibrating screen is another major reason for the failure of the wear-resistant coating.

  Ensuring that the coating does not peel off in practical applications is a key factor in the success or failure of coating applications.

  Some manufacturers use coating adhesion techniques that are unsuccessful, and the quality of the tree branches or adhesives used is poor, making them easy to peel off in water or cold conditions.

  Therefore, high-strength adhesives and improved resins should be used as much as possible to increase the content of polar groups and achieve better adhesion between the two in a straight line.

  The higher the viscosity of the improved coating, the stronger the coating on the linear vibrating screen, making it less likely to fall off easily. This is a great protective effect for the linear vibrating screen.
